NWA World Champion Nick Aldis is a man of many talents. In the past Aldis has proven to be a great talk show host. Recently "The Real World Champion" announced he will be a special correspondent for FITE TV covering wrestling, boxing, and MMA. No on is king of the hill forever and it is great to have backup plan or even a second career.
There are many other wrestlers who have second careers. Tim Storm is a school teacher. Jerry "The King" Lawyer is a commercial artist and restaurant owner. Tom Drake "The Cullman Comet" was a wrestler, lawyer, football and wrestling coach, state representative and even Alabama Speaker of the House.
A backup plan is not only for wrestlers, but for all us as well. After working the same job for 28 years, all the sudden my company did massive job cuts. Instead of being upset I had a backup plan and life went on. One can find a lot of inspiration from wrestlers.
Nick Aldis is example of a great champion preparing for life in the future.
