It is now being said that the NWA will return sometime in the spring. Many of us who enjoy old school wrestling need to fill that void. At the moment I am filling part of that void with SWE Fury.
SWE Fury is a Texas promotion that reminds of the days of Houston Wrestling and World Class Wrestling. According to the last episode former NWA World Champion Tim Storm is the SWE Fury Champion. Charlie Haas, a skilled veteran in both the amatuer and professional ranks, is now part of the SWE Fury roster. It appears that Storm and Haas will have a title match in the future. (It is possible that this match has already happened. Wikipedia has Charlie Haas as the current SWE Fury Champion.)
Memphis Wrestling will be hosting matches on Youtube at the end of this month on Saturdays at noon. SWE Fury appears on Youtube and FITE TV on Monday nights. Also Championship Wrestling From Hollywood appears on FITE TV. All these programs are free.
