A good friend of mine is running for mayor of Crossett. His opponent, a two-term incumbent, has declined an invitation to debate him on the issues. The current mayor feels that a debate would not be to his advantage. However my friend is not in a winning situation when it comes to putting out yard signs. Brian Bailey ordered 100 yards sings, and all of then were put out in a 10 days. Fifty of those signs have vanished, but all mayor's yard signs are still standing. This does arouse my suspicion.
This office holder refuses to meet his challenger on a civil and fair battleground. Yet his supporters will travel the streets at night, trespass on private property, and steal the opposition's yard signs.
It appears that a few supporters, of the current mayor, have no dignity, or respect for those who disagree with them. It is time for new leadership in the city hall of Crossett Arkansas.
